HAPPY NEW YEAR in 2015 from all at our WKF (World Kickboxing Federation) Offices in Australia, PNG, and our “New” WKF Country GUAM.
2015 will be a very exciting year, with “Proposed” shows coming up in March, April and May in all these 3 countries. WKF Oceania is becoming one of the most “Powerful” Continents in the World of Muaythai Kickboxing and MMA, with current World Champions residing in this region.
It was also great news with WKF Australia Oceania President Mr Robert Wilesmith being elected as the WKF World Secretary General, and Ms Lina TITO elected WKF President for Indonesia.
Lets reflect on 2014:
On May 30th 2014, JON “Lethal” LEVEN (Sydney Australia) became the “First” WKF MMA Pro World Champion ever, destroying OneFC Indonesian Champion Zuli Silawanto in 12 Seconds of the 1st Round for the Welterweight Title at Club Punchbowl, Sydney Australia on Thunderlegs Promotions. “THUNDERLEGS PROMOTIONS AUSTRALIA” promoted 4 WKF Professional World Titles on an “ALL PRO SHOW”.
